Peaking and standing on coastwater ?

From Malouri, close to Tammio wich is one of Finlands rare over year habitated islands. If you ever get a chance, get in a Tuuriboat on a hot summerday and it takes you there. There is lot to see, if interested from old house building and a fishing kind of thingies.Here is a description in finnish I once made in high school (rating: good - ).

a small rocky place wich is highly populated by Seagulls and other rare birds

Somerluoto and many other island here belongs to National Park.

This was taken after 31.8. when it is legally OK get on an island;

by this time new ducklings are enough old to take care of themselves.

a very silky rock back from latest iceage

from Pitkä Kotka. From here was a few pieces of Rapakivi -stone taken to build St. Petersburg

calm and icy view

A nice, but cold sunset. The sea is about to freeze from here to Kotka islands. It was already difficult to come this far with our Terhi 405 trough over 5 centimeters steel ice.

I had Massive help from my uncle, 110 kg at front really breaks the ice

My uncle
